At Plainfield Community Outreach, our mission is to improve quality of life for families facing educational, financial and nutritional inequities. Our programs are designed to educate, empower and inform. We’re committed to bridging this gap and providing affordable after school childcare, snacks and meals for over 200 students, hosting evening workshops for parents and staying connected, partnering with other organizations who are aligned with our mission to support the greater community.
Plainfield Community Outreach has been making a difference since 1996 and our afterschool program has been serving the community for 15 years.
Our Programs
V.I.P. Afterschool Program
Our V.I.P. Afterschool Program is designed to empower youth in our community by providing educational and cultural activities. In partnership with Plainfield Public Schools and parents.
Grace’s
Kitchen
Open to serve hot lunches during the last five days of the month when many find themselves without money for food.
Adult Language
Learning Center
We offer weekly Spanish and English classes for adults looking to learn a second language.
